ANDRAS F. BABERO is founder and managing partner of The Law Office of Andras F. Babero. His practice areas include real estate, complex financial litigation, and domestic and international financial and commodities transactions. Mr. Babero served as an expert witness on United States banking and finance law in a case before the High Court of Justice of England and Wales, Chancery Division. He has had a long and distinguished career in both law and banking. Mr. Babero formerly served as senior vice president and general counsel of PriMerit Bank, Federal Savings Bank from 1981 to 1994. He acquired Commercial Financial Mortgage, a multi-state mortgage bank, where he served as its chairman and chief executive officer. Mr. Babero was appointed by former Governor Bob Miller as a member of the Nevada Commission on Economic Development, where he served as vice chairman. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and the American Bar Association, a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a colleague of the Nevada Law Foundation. Mr. Babero has been a frequent speaker and writer on business, banking, and legal topics. He earned his B.S. degree from UNLV and his J.D. degree from Texas Southern University.
