JOSEPH A. CUSTER is an associate professor of law and director at Judge Ben C. Green Law Library at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Before his current position, he was the assistant professor of law and director, Vincent C. Immel Law Library at Saint Louis University School of Law, for five years. Before that, Mr. Custer spent his first fifteen years in legal academia after leaving private practice at the Wheat Law Library at the University of Kansas School of Law. He held various positions, the last of which was as associate director and head of technical services and lecturer. He has been a frequent lecturer for various CLE seminars. Mr. Custer has written several articles, some of which have been cited in legal opinions or by prestigious legal authors, including Eric Posner and Cass Sunstein. His most recent article, "The Effects of Notorious (or Infamous) Events on Public Library Collections, Both Then and Now," will be appearing in the upcoming Volume 54 of the Indiana Law Review (2021). He is currently working on a paper dealing with "cancel culture" and its effect on literature. In addition to his many articles and published chapters, he was the lead author on Kansas Legal Research, Carolina Academic Press (2008). He earned his J.D. degree from the University of Arkansas, his M.B.A. degree from the University of Kansas, and his MALS degree from the University of Missouri.
GREGORY L. FORDHAM is the founder of Fordham Forensics based in Atlanta, Georgia. He provides forensic accounting and computer forensic and e-discovery consulting services to attorneys in complex litigation cases nationwide. Although his cases have involved a wide range of labor-related issues like claims of harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination, he is most often involved in asserting or defending matters involving restrictive covenants and misappropriated trade secrets. Mr. Fordham is a certified public accountant in Virginia, and a certified internal auditor by the Institute of Internal Auditors. He has also added several professional certifications reflecting his computer forensic expertise, including certified computer examiner by the Internal Society of Forensic Computer Examiners. He earned his B.B.A. degree from Emory University in Atlanta.
SHEILA A. GRELA is a litigation paralegal with Procopio in San Diego. Ms. Grela has over two decades of experience. She is an advanced certified paralegal (ACP) in ediscovery. Her paralegal certificate, with honors, was from the ABA-approved USD Paralegal program. Mr. Grela has advanced her paralegal experience by becoming both a relativity review management specialist (RRMS) and a certified ediscovery specialist (CEDS). Recently, her ediscovery achievement was acknowledged when she was appointed to be a Global Advisory Council participant for EDRM. She is a member of the San Diego Chapter of Women in eDiscovery, where she currently serves as the assistant director. Ms. Grela currently serves as vice president of Membership for the San Diego Paralegal Association, and is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants. She is a member of the San Diego Legal Secretaries Association. Her computer expertise includes Microsoft® Office applications, Relativity®, Adobe Acrobat XI, Ipro Eclipse®, Concordance®, TextMap® and TrialDirector®.
JUNE HUNTER is the technical enablement senior specialist at DISCO. Ms. Hunter has worked in many different capacities during her career, which have included legal secretary, firm wide trainer/IT help desk, litigation support, and paralegal. Ms. Hunter's experience has required her to perform on multiple levels, including as an eDiscovery analyst, and technological trainer, as well as providing customer support through manning of the IT helpdesk and in the litigation support role during trial. In her role as a paralegal, she has assisted in the preparation of documents for commercial real estate transactions, litigation documents, government RFP's, multiple environmental actions, and assisted with HR and employee related legal issues. Ms. Hunter is instrumental in the implementation of discovery plans for litigation including assisting with data analysis and setting up the database or other review systems for other legal personnel. She is an adjunct teacher at UCSD Extension in their ABA approved paralegal studies program, teaching Computer Essentials for the Legal Professional. She is currently a board member for the San Diego Paralegal Association and volunteers her time to education of other legal professions, including teaching computer classes through the San Diego Legal Secretaries Association. Ms. Hunter is graduate of the ABA-approved Paralegal Studies program at the University of California San Diego.
