TERYL R. GORRELL is an attorney with Gorrell Giles PC. Mr. Gorrell has practiced real estate law for more than 40 years. He represents developers and capital providers in the acquisition, structuring, development, operation and disposition of a wide variety of projects throughout the United States. These include commercial, medical, residential, assisted living, affordable housing, condominium, industrial, retail, historic preservation and mixed use developments. His work involves due diligence, purchase and sale agreements, capital and loan financing, conveyancing, title assurance, land use planning, entitlements, zoning, construction, management, leasing and sales. These projects frequently require complex ownership and capital structuring involving joint ventures, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, corporations, foreign entities, public/private ventures, horizontal and vertical development lenders, and tax increment financing. Mr. Gorrell has served as special counsel to governmental entities on land use matters and has represented title insurance underwriters and agencies on title insurance, closing and regulatory matters. He has served as a lead Valuation Commissioner in complex condemnation proceedings.
