FRANK KOSIR JR. is a partner with Meyer Unkovic & Scott LLP, in Pittsburgh and is a member of the firm's real estate and lending, litigation and dispute resolution, energy and mineral rights, and construction law groups. He has significant civil litigation and general practice experience in all areas of real property law. Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Kosir acquired extensive experience in all facets of real estate development, sales, construction, and leasing with his family's home construction company. He represents clients in a wide range of matters, including commercial and residential real estate tax assessment appeals, commercial and residential sales and leasing, oil and gas lease negotiations, boundary line disputes, real estate title defense and claims, commercial and residential landlord-tenant proceedings, quiet title proceedings, eminent domain proceedings, condominium creation and amendment, and zoning and land use issues. He earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Washington and Jefferson College and his J.D. degree from the Duquesne University School of Law. A member of the Pennsylvania, Allegheny County and Washington County bar associations, Mr. Kosir serves on the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section Council. He writes a monthly real estate case law update and a quarterly real estate update column. Mr. Kosir is co-author of the book, Fagnilli and Kosir on Deeds-Fundamentals of Deed Drafting, and Fagnilli and Kosir on Deeds-Fundamentals of Deed Drafting, 2nd Edition.
