This program may qualify for up to 1.0 hours of self-study CLE credit by the Montana Commission of Continuing Legal Education, including 0.0 hour of ethics. No more than 4.0 hours of self-study CLE credit may be earned during a reporting period.
NBI, Inc. is licensed by the New Hampshire Department of Education Office of Career School Licensing. There are no enrollment prerequisites or admissions requirements for this course, and there is no exam or grading system. Satisfactory progress is based solely on attendance at the course. Credits may not be transferred. All refunds shall be paid within 30 days upon written notification from a student of cancellation or withdrawal. Students receiving benefits from federal programs shall be subject to federal refund policies, rules and regulation. Student complaints should be directed to our office at (800) 930-6182. Upon exhausting all avenues with NBI, Inc. for resolution, students may file a complaint with the Office of Career School Licensing at (603) 271-6443.
KATIE BROWN is the associate dean for information resources at the Charleston School of Law. Ms. Brown's research and scholarship is focused on intellectual property, acting skills for lawyers, law and literature, management, and a variety of legal research related topics. She teaches advanced legal research courses; is a frequent guest lecturer in the law school classroom; and adjunct faculty for the Meinder School of Business, Master of Science in Energy Legal Studies program. Ms. Brown received her M.S. (ILS) degree from Drexel University and her J.D. degree from Seattle University Law School. She is a very active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). Ms. Brown has participated in a variety of leadership roles throughout the association chapters and special interest sections.
