SUSAN BOWDEN GUNST is an attorney with Bowden Cyr PLLC. She has helped injured people recover medical expenses, wage loss, and other damages incurred as a result of someone else's wrongdoing. She has also helped families that are suffering with the loss of a loved one by holding the negligent party accountable. Ms. Bowden Gunst has arbitrated, mediated and litigated hundreds of cases with insurance companies. Her vast trial experience includes wrongful death, personal injury, and medical malpractice claims. Ms. Bowden Gunst not only has experience in state district court, but also at the federal court level and the court of appeals. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Legal Assistance of Washington County, as well as the Minnesota Association for Justice f/k/a Minnesota Trial Association, and the Minnesota Women Lawyers. Ms. Bowden Gunst earned her B.S. degree from Moorehead State University and her J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
JAMES K. THEISEN is an attorney in the Rockford office of Hupy and Abraham. With more than a decade of experience, he handles personal injury claims. Mr. Theisen earned his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law, where he received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Phi Delta Phi Award for outstanding achievement in legal ethics and the Academic Achievement Scholarship. He also served as a student ambassador for Southern Illinois University School of Law and participated in William & Mary School of Law’s summer program in Madrid, Spain. Mr. Theisen is licensed to practice in Illinois’ state and federal courts, as well as the state of Missouri. He also is a member of the Winnebago County and the Illinois State bar associations.
