BRENDA L. WAHLER is a solo practitioner and mediator in Helena specializing in family law and related issues. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Wahler was legal counsel for the Child and Family Services Division of the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services and for the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. She has presented CLEs on family law and legal issues regarding abused and neglected youth. She earned her law degree from the University of Montana, following a career as a high school teacher, which included experience teaching youth within the juvenile corrections system. She is a past president of the First Judicial District Bar Association, and chair of the Law-Related Education Committee of the State Bar of Montana.
