CHRISTOPHER E. BIGGS is a partner with the general practice firm of Knopp and Biggs PA, in Manhattan, Kansas. He is a magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Kansas State University, and is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law. Mr. Biggs has been a member of the Kansas Bar Association since 1983 and is admitted before the Supreme Court of the United States. He served as Kansas Securities Commissioner, Kansas Secretary of State, Geary County Attorney (14 years), Assistant Shawnee County District Attorney, and as a public defender. Mr. Biggs has extensive experience in lengthy, complicated, and high-stakes jury trials to include homicides, securities fraud and public corruption cases. He received the Outstanding Prosecutor Award from the Kansas County and District Attorneys Association in 1988 for his work in a homicide case where the defendant was convicted of murder for an attack on a child by her rottweilers, which was covered by Court TV and Dateline NBC. He has both prosecuted and defended capital criminal cases. Mr. Biggs also serves as a regular instructor in trial advocacy programs and as a lecturer on trial organization and skills.
RICK DAVIS is a sole practitioner in Overland Park, Kansas. Mr. Davis’ practice focuses primarily on the areas of residential real estate and he regularly represents parties in all facets of the real estate industry. His past and current clients include large mortgage servicers, home improvement retail stores, local contractors, real estate investors, property management companies and individual homeowners. He serves clients in both Kansas and Missouri. Mr. Davis is a member of the Kansas Bar Association (Young Lawyers Section), The Missouri Bar and the American Bar Association. Mr. Davis graduated with his B.G.S. degree from the University of Kansas and earned his J.D. degree from Washburn University School of Law.
LORI A. SNEAD is an experienced senior litigation paralegal at Brown & Crouppen, P.C., with a 20-year demonstrated history of working in the legal service industry, earning her associate's degree in paralegal studies in 1999 from Southwestern Illinois College. Her emphasis is plaintiff personal injury, handling various types of catastrophic injury cases from initial client contact through settlement and/or trial. Ms. Snead also provides guidance and support to other paraprofessionals and legal assistants.
