No more than 3.0 hours of distance learning CLE credit may be earned during a reporting period.

Credits may not be transferred. All refunds shall be paid within 30 days upon written notification from a student of cancellation or withdrawal. R.A. HURLEY is an attorney with Rees Broome, P.C. Mr. Hurley represents homeowners associations and condominium unit owners associations before courts in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland in general matters, as well as collections. He has served as counsel to large institutional lenders in foreclosure related proceedings in both the state and bankruptcy courts. Mr. Hurley has advised clients on the effects of various bankruptcy proceedings on their portfolios of accounts, as well as representing clients in matters ranging from simple stay matters to more complex claim objections and chapter 11 proceedings. Earlier in his career he was lead Virginia counsel for a large national debt purchaser, involving not only litigating the collection of accounts, but advising them on matters of compliance with state and federal regulations as well. Mr. Hurley has also represented consumers before both state and bankruptcy courts. He received his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and earned his J.D. degree from William & Mary Law School.
