THOMAS B. DECEA is a partner with Fishman Decea & Feldman with offices in Westchester and New York City. Mr. Decea has been an attorney for more than 34 years and practices in the areas of commercial litigation, creditor's rights, foreclosure and landlord-tenant law. He is a seasoned trial lawyer who has tried many cases, both jury and non-jury to verdict. Mr. Decea has also served as foreclosure commissioner, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, from 1994 to present. He earned his B.S. degree from the State University of New York at Albany and his J.D. degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law.
SCOTT WHEAT is a trial attorney with the Law Office of Hunter C. Piel, LLC. His areas of practice include consumer and financial laws and regulations, including Federal Truth in Lending, FDCPA, the Dodd-Frank Act, TCPA and others. Mr. Wheat works extensively in matters involving consumer and commercial disputes and litigation. Aside from his courtroom experience. Mr. Wheat has handled a number of arbitrations. He has written and been a guest panelist on legal topics relating to admissibility of documentary evidence, admissibility of business records and analyzing statute of limitations issues. Mr. Wheat earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Brockport and his J.D. degree from the University of Buffalo School of Law.
