JAMES B. CURTIN is an attorney in the Columbus law firm of Hrabcak & Company, L.P.A. He has practiced in the areas of estate planning, probate, tax, income tax and elder law for more than 20 years. Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Curtin practiced for 10 years as a certified public accountant (inactive). He wrote an article for the Journal of Pension Planning and Compliance, and is a contributing writer for the 2004 Desk Manual on Elder Law. Mr. Curtin is a frequent lecturer on asset protection, probate law, estate planning and taxation for professional groups. He has lectured for the Ohio Society of CPAs on financial planning and the New York State Society of CPAs on taxation and governmental accounting. Mr. Curtin is a member of the Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, and is a member of the Ohio State Society of CPAs. He earned his B.S. degree from Miami University and his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School.
JEFFREY D. MACKEY is a partner in the Westerville, Ohio, law firm of Fusco, Mackey, Mathews & Gill, LLP. His practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning and probate. He is a frequent speaker in the areas of estate planning and probate, and has previously taught for National Business Institute and the Institute for Paralegal Education. Mr. Mackey earned his B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and his J.D. degree from The Ohio State University College of Law.
BRITTANY M. PACE is an attorney at Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP with offices in Columbus and Dublin. Ms. Pace is a part of the family wealth and estate planning practice group. She primarily focuses on estate planning, probate, trust and estate administration, and elder law. Ms. Pace is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Women’s Bar Association, and Columbus Bar Association. She is also an accredited attorney with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Ms. Pace serves on the Board and as Secretary of Veteran Companion Animal Services (VCAS). She received her undergraduate degree in finance from The Ohio State University and her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
KATRINA L. WAHL is an attorney in the law firm of Shipman, Dixon & Livingston Co LPA, where she practices business and corporate law, probate and estate planning. In her prior practice, Ms. Wahl was a complex business litigation attorney, focused primarily on privacy and class action litigation and eDiscovery. She is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Ohio and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Ms. Wahl is a member of the Ohio State, Dayton and Miami County bar associations, where she participates in various committees, and was recognized as the Young Professional of the Year by the Tipp City Chamber of Commerce in 2012. She earned her B.A. degree from DePauw University, where she was a member of the Management Fellows Honors Program, and her M.A. and J.D. degrees, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, where she served as the executive articles editor for the Journal of College and University Law.
