PHYLLIS R. CALLOWAY, an insurance defense paralegal with the law office of Luks, Santaniello, Petrillo & Jones in Fort Myers, Florida, supports the firm's managing attorney and Fort Myers team. She previously worked as a regional office manager and in addition, a national law firm as a senior trial paralegal in areas focused on product liability, construction defect, personal injury and securities. Ms. Calloway is the former president of the Southwest Florida Chapter Association of Legal Administrators and a member of the National Federation of Paralegal Association. She has also worked as a clinical advisor through the Child Advocacy Clinic at Denver University School of Law. Ms. Calloway was an appointed member of the Governor's Task Force involving Youth Against Gangs in Denver, Colorado, as well as an special advocate for children through the Rocky Mountain Children's Law Center. She earned her A.S. and B.S. degrees from Delta State University, received her Certified Paralegal Certification from Blackstone School of Law and obtained her J.D. degree in October 2017 with magna cum laude honor.
